The short version: your data stays with you
Methodwise is built so there's very little to say here, and that's the point.
The tools and your numbers
Every Methodwise tool runs entirely in your own web browser. Anything you type (your salary, your budget, your figures) is worked out on your device and stays there. There is no server for it to be sent to, no account to log in to, and no copy kept anywhere by us. When you close the tab, what stays is only what your own browser saves on your machine, for your own convenience.
This website
The site sets no cookies and shows no ads. To count how many people visit, it uses Cloudflare's privacy-friendly analytics: it's cookieless, collects no personal data, and can't build a profile of you or follow you around the web. The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, so the site remembers it next time. That's it.
For honesty: the typefaces load from Google Fonts, which is a request to Google's servers and means they can see your IP address, as they would for any site using their fonts. Nothing else on the page calls out to anyone.
Buying on Etsy
The full tools are sold through our Etsy shop, and any purchase happens on Etsy, not here. When you buy, Etsy handles your order and payment under its own privacy policy. We only ever see what Etsy shows a seller about an order, never your card details.
