More than a finished-books counter

Keep the shelf, sessions and reading history connected

Each book carries its status, progress, sessions, quotes, format, genre, rating and custom shelves so the statistics come from the reading record itself.

Book log

Track every reading status

Keep wishlist, currently reading, finished and abandoned books together with dates, ratings, formats and notes.

Progress

Record the current page

Update progress directly or let a completed reading session add its logged pages to the book.

Session timer

Time the reading itself

Run one live timer across the tracker, then save the minutes and optional pages read to the selected book.

Quotes

Build a searchable commonplace book

Save quotations against their books and browse the collection from a dedicated quotes page.

Statistics

See patterns across the year

Review monthly finishes, formats, genres, sources, decades, ratings, pace and reading-session totals.

Portable data

Bring the existing shelf

Import Goodreads or StoryGraph CSV files, export the shelf as CSV and keep a complete JSON backup.

Your year in books

Turn the log into a reading recap

The year-in-review arranges the books, ratings, formats, genres and saved quotations into a magazine-style summary built from the tracker data.

  • Personalised year title
  • Five-star favourites
  • Monthly reading shape
  • Format and genre breakdowns
  • Featured quotation and notable reading numbers
  • Save a 1080-pixel share image

A tracker that can leave the platform

Keep the reading record as your own file

The import and export tools make the shelf portable without tying it to a reading network or subscription.

  • Goodreads CSV import
  • StoryGraph CSV import
  • Duplicate check by title and author
  • Spreadsheet-friendly CSV export
  • Complete JSON backup and restore
  • Calendar export for library due dates and goal milestones

How it works

Download it once and open it in your browser

No installation, app store or account is required.

Add or import the shelf

Enter books yourself or bring a Goodreads or StoryGraph CSV export.

Update books and sessions

Record status, progress, timer sessions, ratings, quotes and custom shelves.

Review the reading record

Explore statistics, pace, the annual goal and the year-in-review page.

Private by design

Your reading history stays on your device

The tracker runs locally in your browser. It has no account, cloud database or analytics, and it does not upload books, ratings, notes, quotes or reading sessions.

It does not fetch book covers or publish a social profile. Export a JSON backup when you want to move or preserve the library.

Frequently asked

Before you buy

Which computers and browsers does it work on?

It works on Windows, Mac and Linux computers in a modern version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.

Can I import my Goodreads or StoryGraph library?

Yes. Export a CSV from either service and the tracker maps the supported book fields, previews the import and avoids duplicate title-and-author pairs already present.

Does it work for audiobooks?

Yes. Audiobook is one of the available formats. Page-based progress remains optional, so a book without a page count does not show a progress bar.

Can I use more than one visual style?

Yes. Choose Library, Midnight, Sepia, Atrium or Bordeaux, each with light and dark variants.

Does it download book covers or connect to a book database?

No. The tracker is text-first and offline. Titles, authors and other details are entered or imported from your own CSV file.

What is included in the download?

The single-file Reading Tracker app, a quick-start guide, and licence and support details. Etsy delivers the download after purchase.
