UK Annual Budget Planner

Plan the whole year, not just this month.

The actual planner dashboard, shown with example household figures.

One money year

Connect the plan instead of keeping separate lists

Every account, schedule and transaction feeds the dashboard, forecast and year-end views.

Annual dashboard

See the year-end position before December arrives

Bring together projected income, annual outgoings, savings, debt, net worth and the expected monthly surplus in one view.

Five-year forecast

Project the recurring plan beyond this year

Carry income, bills, subscriptions, savings, debt cascade and mortgage amortisation forward, with account-level shortfall warnings.

What-if planning

Test a change without touching the real figures

Model a pay rise, cancelled cost, lump sum or cleared debt as a second forecast line, then remove the scenario when the question is answered.

Bills and subscriptions

Keep schedules, renewals and real payments connected

Track active and ended commitments, mark cycles paid, review price changes and find duplicate or overlapping subscriptions.

Debt and mortgage

See the dates behind balances and overpayments

Build a snowball or avalanche plan, project the mortgage, test overpayments and offsets, and compare a remortgage with fees included.

UK planning tools

Keep allowances and annual figures beside the budget

Review ISA, savings, dividend, capital-gains and pension allowances, State Pension projections and a Self Assessment worksheet.

The forecast

See the next twelve months and the five-year direction

The forecast carries the recurring plan forward so a negative balance or a debt-clearing date appears before it happens.

  • Five-year projected net worth
  • Twelve-month cashflow by account
  • Committed outgoings breakdown
  • What-if overlay with no state changes

Focused views inside the plan

Move from the annual picture to the job at hand

Private by design

Your household figures stay on your device

The planner runs locally in your browser. It has no account, cloud database, analytics or open-banking connection, and it does not upload balances or transactions.

It is a planning and record-keeping tool, not financial or tax advice. Transfers and backups are manual files that you control. Keep regular backups somewhere separate from the downloaded app.

Frequently asked

Before you buy

What makes the Pro edition different?

Pro adds guided statement import for Monzo, Starling and generic bank CSV files, with payee clean-up, recurring-payment detection and reconciliation. Everything else in the planner is included in both editions.

Can I move from the Base edition to Pro?

Yes. Export a JSON backup from the Base planner and import it into Pro. The two editions share the same planner data format.

Does the Base edition connect to my bank?

No. The Base planner is designed for manual entry and controlled backup files. Pro imports downloaded statements, but neither edition connects to a live bank feed.

Can it plan more than one year?

Yes. The working plan covers a full year, while the forecast projects recurring money, debts and mortgage balances across five years.

Does it replace financial or tax advice?

No. The calculations and projections are planning estimates based on the figures entered. Check decisions and current tax rules against official guidance or a qualified professional where needed.

Which computers and browsers does it work on?

It works on Windows, Mac and Linux computers in a modern version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.

What is included in the download?

The single-file UK Annual Budget Planner app, a quick-start guide, and licence and support details. Etsy delivers the download after purchase.
