The tracker runs locally in your browser. It has no account, cloud database or analytics, and it does not upload categories, transactions or take-home pay.
It does not connect to a bank or download transactions automatically. Export a JSON backup when you want to move or preserve the budget.

Which computers and browsers does it work on?
It works on Windows, Mac and Linux computers in a modern version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. It is an offline tracker. Enter transactions yourself or import a compatible CSV export from a bank or spreadsheet.
How does rollover work?
For a monthly envelope with rollover enabled, an unused balance increases the next month’s available amount. Overspending reduces it.
Can I record refunds?
Yes. A refund reduces net spending in its category and flows through the envelope, dashboard, statistics and rollover calculation.
Can I use annual budgets?
Yes. Use annual envelopes for costs that make more sense across the year. Rollover applies to monthly envelopes only.
