Does it include Maternity Allowance?
Yes. The fallback is surfaced when statutory maternity pay does not apply because of employment status, recent employment or earnings below the lower earnings limit.
Can it match my employer scheme?
You can build phases from full pay, half pay plus statutory, half pay, statutory-only and unpaid weeks. Very employer-specific caps or repayment clauses still need to be checked against the policy.
Is the take-home figure exact?
No. It is a monthly payslip-style estimate, not a full cumulative PAYE payroll simulation. Tax codes, benefits, deductions and pay timing can change the amount received.
Does it submit a claim?
No. It is a planning calculator. Employers and official services handle notices, evidence and claims.
