UK mortgage tracker

See where the mortgage stands and what changes it.

Track the balance, loan-to-value, fixed-rate end and overpayments in one place. Compare the current path with a remortgage, a higher rate or an extra monthly payment before making the next decision.

The position behind the payment

Track the balance, rate and deadlines together

The monthly payment is only one part of the mortgage. The tracker keeps the current position, future dates and what-if calculations connected to the same figures.

Balance

See the debt and payoff path

Track the outstanding balance, monthly payment and projected mortgage-free date at the current rate.

Fixed rate

Count down to the end of the deal

Keep the fixed-rate end visible and see the six-month shopping window before the mortgage reaches the lender's SVR.

Loan to value

See the next LTV band

Connect the mortgage balance with the property value and see how much principal remains before the next common rate band.

Overpayments

Log what you actually overpay

Reduce the balance with each dated extra payment and track how much of the annual allowance has been used.

Rate exposure

Model higher-rate payments

See the monthly and yearly difference at one, two and three percentage points above the current rate.

Decisions

Compare overpaying and remortgaging

Use the built-in calculators to compare the current deal, SVR and a new fix, including a product fee.

One mortgage or several

Keep each balance attached to its own deal

Track more than one mortgage without mixing the rates, property values or fixed-rate dates. The portfolio row keeps the total outstanding and nearest deadline visible.

  • Repayment and interest-only mortgages
  • Balance, rate, payment and remaining term
  • Fixed-rate end, SVR and early repayment charge
  • Property value and dated revaluation history
  • Optional offset balance and notes

Overpayments with context

Separate the plan from what you have paid

Save a monthly scenario for comparison, then log each real overpayment against the balance and annual allowance.

  • Log dated one-off overpayments
  • Reduce the recorded balance immediately
  • Track the amount used in the current allowance year
  • Compare payoff dates with and without a monthly overpayment
  • Estimate interest and time saved at the current rate
  • Flag scenarios that may cross the ERC allowance

The trajectory behind the total

See what the next payments actually do

The Stats page turns the amortisation schedule into a smaller set of comparisons you can use when reviewing the mortgage.

  • Interest versus capital over the next 12 months
  • Balance still owed after 1, 3, 5 and 10 years
  • Payoff date and total interest with an overpayment
  • Current LTV and principal needed for the next band
  • Property value history from logged revaluations

Five calculators, the same mortgage figures

Compare the choices without starting again

The calculators run against the selected mortgage, so its balance, payment, rate and term stay consistent across each scenario.

  • Overpayment with ERC awareness
  • Fee-aware remortgage comparison
  • Overpay the mortgage or invest the surplus
  • Stamp duty across England, Scotland and Wales
  • Indicative residential-property capital gains tax

No installation, app store or account is required.

Etsy delivers the digital download after purchase, with the tracker, quick-start guide, licence and support details.

Log overpayments and valuations, compare scenarios, export key dates, print the summary and keep a separate backup.

Private by design

Your mortgage figures stay on your device

The tracker runs locally in your browser. It has no account, cloud database, analytics or lender connection, and it does not upload balances, payments, rates or property values.

It does not sync automatically between computers or fetch live mortgage rates. Export a backup from one device and import it on another when you want to move the records.

Frequently asked

Before you buy

Which computers and browsers does it work on?

It works on Windows, Mac and Linux computers in a modern version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.

Does it connect to my bank or mortgage lender?

No. The tracker is deliberately offline. You enter and update the mortgage, payment, rate, date and property-value figures you want to track.

Can I track more than one mortgage?

Yes. Each mortgage keeps its own balance, lender, rate, payment, property value, fixed-rate end and overpayment history. The dashboard also shows portfolio totals.

Does it know my lender's exact overpayment rules?

No. You enter the allowance and ERC rate from your own mortgage terms. The tracker can flag a scenario against those figures, but you should confirm the lender's rules before paying extra.

Are the payoff and interest figures guaranteed?

No. They are estimates based on the balance, payment, rate and term you enter. Rates, lender calculations and future payments can change, and the tracker is not financial advice.

Can it handle an interest-only mortgage?

Yes. It keeps the principal flat unless you log an overpayment and makes clear that the balance still needs to be repaid at the end of the term.

Can I print the mortgage position?

Yes. The summary brings balances, rates, LTV, payments, fixed-rate dates and the next 12 months' projected interest and capital into a printable page.
